Thank you very much for the interesting talk on Tuesday morning.
Your efforts were very much appreciated by the girls and the
staff as later discussions revealed. The water divining way
to demonstrate a ‘double blind’ trial was excellent
and made it very clear to the girls. And nothing beats a good
dose of ‘magic’ spoons to get them hooked!
We hope you are still
in business next year so you can come again to our next Year
10 group.
Thank you again,

ABC
TV in Australia have bought a 15 part "documentary"
series called 'Psychic Investigators'. No,
it's not about an investigation of the claims of so-called
psychics, it's about the great successes of psychics in solving
crimes. HUH??
Hear Lynne Kelly, Mark Mayer, Loretta Marron, Kylie
Sturgess and some very clever young inventors all
interviewed at the 2006 Australian Skeptics Convention.
As the program said... TAKE HALF AN HOUR to potentially
WIN $100,000 – ARE YOU A SKEPTIC??
THE MYSTERY INVESTIGATORS will take you on an amazing journey.
The Mystery Investigators in the Auditorium – Take half
an hour to take in the mysteries of water divining and the
potential to win $100,000.
Although we tested water diviners and other people who were
keen to give it a go, we did not find anyone who could pass
the test. However a good time was had by all and after the
tests the Mystery Investigators took part in a 'Knowledge
Bazaar' where many spoons were bent! A big thanks to Margaret
Leutton and Kate Andrews for arranging our participation.
See you next time!

the video (looks like a spider or a moth or a web) that also
seems to look like a ghost! (Whatever a ghost looks like.)
A
big thanks to all those people who came to see us perform
at the ABC broadcasting building in Sydney. Everyone had a
fun time with people bending spoons, testing water divining
and laying on our bed of nails. We hope to see you all again
at the ABC next year for Science Week.
